Advasil Conform is a sheet of medical
grade, self-adherent silicone gel for the management of scar tissue or recently
healed wounds. Silicone gel sheets are reported to help reduce the effects of
scarring if worn for prolonged periods. Hypertrophic and keloid scarring may
particularly benefit from Advasil Conform.
Composed of a conformable layer of translucent Silfix silicone gel approved
for skin contact, and a smooth polyurethane outer layer, Advasil
Conform reduces pain and trauma at dressing changes, improving
wearability and patient compliance.
Advasil Conform is
supplied sterile for improved hygiene, it is also washable and can be
used for up to 28 days once open.
